Mateenbar Fiberglass Rebar – Where Passion Meets Innovation
It’s been a while since we introduced a product line that had such a personal and emotional connection to our history. Being able to offer the Mateenbar fiberglass rebar is a full-circle moment for our Technical Sales Manager Kyle, who can’t wait to get this lightweight steel rebar alternative into Ontario’s concrete reinforcement industry.
Working with rebar is a Wasylin family trade, with Kyle’s dad starting in the industry in 1979. Following in his fathers footsteps, Kyle joined the rebar industry in 2006, staying until 2019 when he became our team leader at Ontario Agra Piping & Supplies. During this time of his career he worked on some major infrastructure projects, such as the Red Hill Creek expansion, multiple TTC projects, and numerous Toronto high-rise condominiums. Needless to say, when the opportunity arose for Kyle to incorporate an innovative rebar solution into our business at Ontario Agra, it was a resounding yes.
If you’re unfamiliar with Mateenbar fiberglass rebar, you can learn more below about how their products compare to the traditional rebar that we all know.
